In every business, we believe managers play a dynamic role in shaping the development process of their employees. The managerial position allows them to influence and harness the full potential of employees.

At the core of our program, we are targeting manger-level staff and aim to impart important training and developmental skills. When equipped with those skills, managers will then be able to pass on the values and skills to respective team leaders for them to develop staff

We view managers as an influential and dynamic leaders crucial of shaping human development in any business. Grounded in Japanese Business values, our program aims to:

・Equip managers with training skills for respective team leaders

・Identify key areas in which managers hold an important role in development

・Review organizational structure and examine the impact on staff development

Develop Team Leaders through Capability Development and Coaching

Areas covered include

Aligning training measures with organisational strategies and business plan

Create development measures based on individuals’ current versus desired level of skills

Coaching towards goals

Review coaching outcomes against coaching goals

 

Training Outcome

The ability to understand

・Legal and ethical considerations relating to the management of capability development

・Organisational policies and procedures relating to capability development

・Relevant professional or industry codes of practice and standards relating to management of capability development as a manager of a department or cross functional team

・Implications and impact of coaching and mentoring activities on the individuals participating in the process

・Models and methods of training needs analysis

・Market trends and developments on new and emerging skill requirements, and learning and development

 

The Ability to:

・Review organisational strategies and business plans to identify impact on team competency requirements

・Review current skills of team leaders using appropriate methods and tools to identify skills requirements

・Work with team leaders to establish their learning priorities and learning and development plans

・Identify learning and development opportunities and provide resources and support to facilitate the development of team leader skills

・Review capability development approach for team leaders to identify areas for improvement

・Provide coaching to team leaders to enhance their role performance, taking into consideration their emotional states

・Review coaching outcomes against coaching goals to identify areas for improvement in the coaching process

・Improve own coaching skills by subscribing to diverse learning channels and participating in peer discussion platforms to enhance workplace performance

Cancellation Policy
Cancelling your application

You may request to cancel your course application by email or post, subject to the cancellation fee on the following conditions. (The grant will not be offered)

a) More than 14 days before the course commencement date – 25% of course fees should be paid as the cancellation fee

b) 14 days to 7 days before the course commencement date – 50 % of course fees should be paid as the cancellation fee

c) 6 day or less before the commencement date – 100 % of course fees should be paid as the cancellation fee

d) Upon the commencement date-same as c)

Cancellation by Alue

In the unlikely event that we have to cancel the course for unavoidable reasons, the following terms will apply.

In the event of natural disasters, infectious diseases, epidemics or other events which we consider may cause harm to persons or the community, we may cancel the course. In the event of such cancellation, no cancellation fee will be levied.
